Photo Friday: My neighbors are out of town for the holiday week so I get to spend a little quality time with Coco each day while they are gone. Today we watched a couple hours of television together. Studies have shown that petting a cat brings blood pressure levels down, which is very helpful when watching the talking head "news" shows.

Huh, I wonder if studies have been done about watching the news, esp. cable news, and whether it elevates people's blood pressure. Probably it does, but they should do some research to quantify it.
But anyway ... yeah, looks like you're both enjoying it!

Hi Syd,
I haven't checked your blog in a while, due to infrequent postings. I was so happy to see so many new articles. Your "voice" gave me a real lift today. I hope that naming days means you're aiming to post at a slightly higher frequency. I know you're busy living your life, but in planning my retirement journey, your voice resonates in a unique way. Thanks for sharing the knowledge you acquire along the way.

Diane: I'm so happy to hear that. I'm always aiming to post at a higher frequency, but it seems to come in waves. Weeks where I just think of a million things and weeks where I can't think of one! But I'm so glad to hear you can relate. Thanks for your comment!
P.S. You can subscribe by email and posts will just land in your in box intermittently without you having to go check my blog. That's an awful lot of work for you to have to go check all the time!
