Bless you for this...........I've been looking soulfully at this type of trip, even though I'm only fifty something. And yes, The only reason I get up to swim at seven thirty in the morning is because you use it or you lose it.

We recently spent a week in Santa Fe and went to two operas and had a lecture before one of them. That opera (Magic Flute) was a much richer experience because of the learning. I find it easier, though, to make sure that I have these wonderful experiences from time to time than I do to figure out the balance of busy/restful on a day-to-day basis from home.

With your background and retirement experience, you need to be the one writing your daughters blog!
